5 Gift Ideas for Father’s Day 😉

So, I am fully aware of the fact Father’s Day was yesterday. However, I could not get myself to post this blog any earlier than now. I could not spoil all of the surprises…
First on my list:
On Amazon.com I found 2 pairs of Under Armour shoes: Ladies and children, I cannot stress this enough… Pay attention to his wardrobe! If your husband or dad are anywhere close to how mine are - they hardly ever buy clothes/shoes for themselves! Yes, this normally includes socks and underwear. Just buy them & they will be more than happy. 👍 #wifewin: I didn’t even have to leave the house.

The husband’s reaction: He loves the shoes! He likes the white pair better than the black pair, but both pair are great and are a perfect fit! He also liked his new underwear 😜.

Trinkets. Trinkets being coffee mugs, desk top decor, bookshelf decor, etc.

If you need a gift for the husband from the kids, I strongly suggest figuring out when your local Hobby Lobby has their sales on decor on their trinkets! Or, if you don’t want to get out of the house, shop with them online!
I have personally found that shopping in-store is just a lot of fun & I find better deals as well!

Husband’s reaction: He really enjoyed the kids coming up to them with their ‘presents for daddy’. It made him feel good & the kids. & another #wifewin. 😜
Fourth on my list:
His favorite snacks!
#wifewin: I normally surprise him with snacks, not just on father’s day. If I failed to mention that I’m sure my in-laws would worry that I was starving him. (Joking, of course.)
Husband’s reaction: He’s a snacker — he LOVES his chocolate! He was super excited about his snacks.
Fifth on my list:
COOKIE CAKE!
Normally I find a cookie cake at my neighborhood grocery store - that is if they have a bakery. Most of the time they have them decorated and ready to put in your cart! Very simple.
#wifewin: The husband and the kids love the cookie cakes!
Husband’s reaction: Let’s just say if he didn’t get a cookie-cake he would question my love for him. I think the cookie-cakes are going to be a tradition around our house.
BONUS:
Ask your husband or dad what he wants for dinner. In my case, my husband requested Lobster Macaroni. If anyone is interested, I will share my recipe 😘.
Husband’s reaction: He doesn’t know how he got so lucky to marry a woman like me. 😉 Okay, maybe he didn’t say that word-for-word, but he DID think it… I know he did.
Throughout this day - including all other days during the year - remember to take a minute to breathe & grasp all of the things you love about your husband and think about how much he does for you and your family. Sometimes we get so caught-up in life and creating our own “perfect storm” that we forget to take time to appreciate each other. ❤️
