Paw-ty Time!
Let’s play a game — Guess who!?
She has the biggest heart and brightest smile — at 9 years of age, she never seizes to amaze me. Yes, I may be a little bias, but she’s pretty darn awesome.

I sat down with this sweet soul to plan her birthday party. As we spoke about everything, we took a look around her room… She made the comment of “I just have a lot of things and I really want to help out those who need it”.
Lexi asked if we could take her old stuffed animals to the local animal shelter — the dogs and cats LOVE this, by the way! If you have found an excessive amount of forgotten about toys, please remember our furry friends! So, the answer was YES!
With a little more thinking, the idea of asking for donations to the animal shelter came to surface. Again, my answer was YES! (Proud mommy moment!)
Some animals are fortunate enough to find their fur-ever homes quickly, while others sit in a stall waiting for someone to come to their rescue (if they ever get rescued☹️). If you can find the time to volunteer at your local animal shelter or swing by to make a donation — you will be making a great difference! ❤️
After Lexi’s party (which was a SUCCESS!) we went to the animal shelter to drop off the donations. The sidetrack-womanly brain of mine remembered: Starbucks just opened yesterday!!! — and we know all about the pupiccinos! So, needless to say… We grabbed a dozen of the tiny cups and went on our way to visit with our little friends.
I tell you what, seeing my little girl light up with life because she is making a difference in something that she loves is the BEST feeling in the world! We are beyond Blessed and grateful for everyone that contributed so her birthday wishes would come true.
Everyone at the shelter, animals included, were beyond happy and very gracious of this little girls’ act of kindness for sharing her birthday!
